Country Dancing Guide

“We play both kinds of music here, Country and Western!”

While the style of country music, and the clubs that pay it, have changed over the years, there is one thing that remains synonymous to the genre, country line dancing. Whether you’re a pro or new to the floor, suburban Chicago offers the best bet for some boot scootin’ boogie. From the very north to the very south, local clubs offer lessons from professional trainers and often feature great live music from hometown acts. For those who are not so adventurous, just grab a brew and soak in the tunes.

Before you hit the dance floor, be sure to dress comfortably and try to stick with hard-sole boots or shoes.

Sorry kids, must be over 21 for this crew.
