In 2008, Country Music Chicago set forth with intentions of better organizing the local scene and creating Chicago’s only country music dedicated magazine. Today, with the success of CountryMusicChicago.com, Country Music Chicago still looking toward some type of print medium but only as a complement to CountryMusicChicago.com.

Today, with the rapid, limitless growth of the internet and as the internet continues to take a larger share of the information market, CMC is committed to its online edition because of its extreme flexibility in content and audience reach. Regardless of print a magazine, CMC is committed to being on the forefront of news and technology.
